Grape Escape
The Gaithersburg Planning Commission approved the proposed icon signage for Grape Escape, 223 Kentlands Boulevard, on September 1. No word on when the new restaurant will open.
Economic Director Job
The city of Gaithersburg is looking for an economic development director. The new city job “requires thorough knowledge of municipal economic development programming and administration, marketing and public relations techniques, financing and incentive strategies and business concerns.” The posting indicates the “starting salary will be market competitive.” Applications will be accepted from now until October 15. Pop Phenom
KAT 2nd Stage will present “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” on September 11 – 26 at the Gaithersburg Arts Barn with 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. performances on Saturdays and Sundays. Admission is $16 for Gaithersburg residents and $9 for children and students. This family show is suitable for all ages, especially children.
Art Exhibit
