		<description><![CDATA[Thirteen-year-old Lakelands resident Josh Bernstein is gearing up for his first gig outside the Star Diner in Kentlands Downtown June 19 with his band, Pulse. Along with fellow band mates Trevor Mooney, Adam Landa, Klye Lefelar and Mike Ambroino, front man Bernstein will play tribute to classic and alternative rock with songs by Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton and Nirvana. He will also introduce three original songs, said Bernstein. Pulse got its start at Bach to Rock in Washingtonian Center about 18 months ago, and the members hit it off with music as a connecting point. Bernstein stumbled upon the music center after searching for a place to sing his kind of music. “Our school doesn’t have a big music program,” said Bernstein, a student at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. Now the band has played several outside shows at Washingtonian Center and its music video has already had more than 2,000 hits on YouTube. Pulse plans to stick to it for a while. “It’s good,” said Bernstein.
